The customer challenge
Internet Creation are a creative digital marketing agency that provide their clients with a range of services from website design and development, to graphic design and social media and online marketing.
They work in a dynamic environment and they need to be able to work in a highly flexible and agile way with customers. Their existing, on-premise, version of Microsoft Dynamics 365 was really holding things back for them. Not only was it providing unreliable but the reality was that it was also potentially posing a big security risk due to the outdated nature of the technology.
Internet Creation needed a solution that would streamline their business processes and give them one single view of their customer data .
Internet Creation wanted to move to a more flexible Cloud based solution that would not only simply the management of business processes both internally and with customers but that would also enable hybrid working for their team – who were increasingly working in a flexible way across office, home and other locations.
The solution
Managed IT Experts was able to carry out a business requirements review with Internet Creation to assess their specific business and CRM/ERP requirements.
As part of that process we identified that migrating from their existing onpremise version of Dynamics to the Cloud based version of Microsoft Dynamics 365 was going to provide them with the flexible work capability and streamlined business 
processes they needed to meet the needs of their customers.
Our requirements assessment also identified:
- the existence of a wide range of data which was effectively siloed in a range of business applications which did not ‘talk’ to each other
- the fact that this was making effective decision and service delivery to clients problematic
As part of the new solution we were able to migrate all of this data into the new Cloud based version of Microsoft Dynamics and Sharepoint Online.
This effectively gave Internet Creation one single version of the truth and cut down on unnecessary duplication of data. Which was not only time consuming but prone to errors. So, in a matter of a few weeks, Internet Creation were working on a new, single platform which made their business processes much more effective.
A client solution built on Microsoft Dynamics 365
The solution that we built for Internet Creation is based on the Cloud based version of Microsoft Dynamics 365 which is a portfolio of business applications that offers cost-effective and flexible access to:
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): tools for managing customer relationships including sales automation, marketing automation and customer service.
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP): capability that helps streamline activities across financial management, supply chain management, inventory control and other operational processes.
This effectively gave Internet Creation one single version of the truth and cut down on unnecessary duplication of data which was not only time consuming but prone to errors.
