The customer challenge

When DOS initially talked to us it was clear that their IT set up was not helping them. In fact, it was holding their business back.

Part of the problem was their company devices like PCs, laptops etc were ageing and they were running old versions of Windows operating systems that were very slow to operate and time consuming to workaround. But that was only part of the story.

There was also a need for a more flexible IT setup that would allow remote access to key company business applications, as well as making the company’s IT resources and data more centralised and secure.

The solution

At the heart of our working with DOS was getting to the heart of their business and IT needs.

Once we had a clear understanding of that we were able to create a centralised shared IT resource that all staff were able to access remotely – as well as upgrading the devices being used in the business to improve efficiency. This means that staff are able to work remotely from any device – laptop, home PC, tablet, or smartphone – securely from anywhere in the world.

And the financial side of things really stacked up for DOS too with initial Capital Savings of £7,084.  In addition to a 50% Energy Saving that will save them an estimated £1,926 over the next 5 years.
